Meet Anne


 


I do make a big effort to always fulfill client expectations. I heard a phrase many years ago when I started out, “Trust, but verify”. That phrase is such a good one to think about in many aspects of your life. I’ve repeated it many times in my professional life, including when working on client requests. I’m also the social butterfly of the office- and I enjoy getting to know our clients.


My background is in banking, which I started out as a teller right after graduating high school. I then move to the Bay Area and continued in banking, but on the Commercial side of the business. I then met a woman in my spin class who suggested that I stop by her office – I thought that she wanted me to be her business banker, but instead I ended up leaving banking and going to work for her in Larkspur, CA at a Broker-Dealer. After just a year with her, I started working in Tiburon, CA for Brouwer & Janachowski, where I spent 9 years and learned a lot about Operations and also took over the client billing. In 2010, I went to work for an asset management firm called Weatherby in San Francisco where I trained new Operations Specialists and worked on special projects. I then moved to Washington in October 2013 and started working for Asset Advisors, LLC. You never know who you are going to meet and where your journey might take you!
